Volunteers from the One World Centre conducted a stall at the Science and Sustainability Expo at the Canning River Eco Education Centre on Sunday 16th August. Around 3,000 people attended the Expo and many of these patrons visited our stall! People of all ages and backgrounds attended the Expo, which was held as a South-of-the River event celebrating National Science Week.
The stall was open from 10am to 3pm. A variety of sustainability education resources were provided free to interested Expo patrons. There were also One World Centre displays, as well as collage activities to engage the children. The collage focused on the message … one people, one world, one planet!
