Sustainable Schools – Western Australia is an initiative that supports sustainability in schools through a whole-school planning framework that promotes the use of sustainability as a key context for teaching and learning in the classroom and in whole-school projects
Little Green Steps WA
Little Green Steps WA (LGSWA) supports Early Childhood Education for Sustainability (ECEfS), which equips children with the tools they need to actively contribute to a healthy, safe, sustainable future. LGSWA works with early childhood educators to equip them with skills for embedding sustainability in the education and care of young children. In addition, LGSWA enables access to an extensive range of educational resources and networks to support local communities to work towards our common goal: giving children the confidence and skills to have a positive impact on their lives and their environment.
Australian Association for Environmental Education WA Chapter
AAEE is Australia’s peak professional body for environmental educators. Their purpose is to celebrate and amplify environmental education in all its many forms and practices, and to support environmental educators across sectors by building networks, resources, and skills
Waste Sorted Schools
The Waste Sorted Schools (WSS) is a WA State government / Waste Authority program which provides support to schools across WA to promote responsible waste management behaviours and develop positive environmental values across the whole school community. It offers resources and support for schools to implement projects and hands on learning activities such as recycling, composting and worm farming.
Millennium Kids
Millennium Kids Inc is a not-for-profit, environmental youth organisation, that is all about empowering young people so they can become leaders and change-agents in their communities. Millennium Kids supports young people to identify and address environmental and sustainability issues in the local, regional and global communities through education, advocacy, innovation and community action.

Environment House aims “to both ‘walk the talk’ and ‘talk the walk’ on climate protection, river & wetland care and other sustainability issues”, and are committed to protecting and restoring the natural environment of Western Australia through community education and involvement.
